Our electricity has been out for almost 24 hours and John has rigged some device that allows us to run the computer off the car battery,,,for about an hour. I have a heartbreaking photo and a funny photo to post when the electricity comes back on. 11,000 without electrcity, 5 inches of snow that is now melting, a run to Starbucks, reading by natura light and Easter dinner cooked on the grill are what's happening here.
I can't believe how bad it got there! I talked to M&D and they told me about the electricity... and your tree! I hope ya'll get your electricity back soon! How did you stay warm last night? Everyone sleeping by the fire? Ya'll should have come to my house!
Good Lord Clonts! EASTER??? It's frigidly cold here--hard to boil crawfish outside yesterday in the freezing rain, but at least no snow, and we DO have electricity. No satellite tv, though :(!
Oh, wow! I can't believe it! Yesterday I told the girls it felt cold enough to snow, but it hasn't here. No freeze yet! But we've been enjoying fires in the fireplace.
I just read down... no electricity! Hope all is restored soon. Wow.
Interesting contrast, the green and white. We got a dusting the day before Easter. I was calling it "The Black and White Easter." Since I've been blogging I seem to give everything a title!
