Laura, it might be more fun if I just let you imagine "why". :-) Eldest dd was driving down the road and saw scared turtle in the middle of it. There was another turtle of similar size that had been squished. She stopped the car and brought it home to 1)save it from squishing and 2)show it to little sis. After observing, eldest dd took the turtle to a safe place and released it. On her way home, she saw another big turtle attempting to cross the road and she turned around to go back and save it. Three other cars were slowing down to do the same thing and someone carried the turtle across the road. The turtles are moving around these parts...must be the spring weather! Susan

It's one of those days I would have chosen being a turtle. For us "big folks", there's simply no place to hide. Forces us to "deal"...
I too would like to be able to hide in a cozy shell some days. This guy has a gorgeous shell, nice shot!
Sheila & Amp...Yap, think I'll start referring to those kinds of days as "turtle days". :-)
Hugs,
Susan
I love the stark white background for him...looks like some sort of 'specimen' photo should look.
But the question is why? WHY did this scared fellow spend time in your bathtub? Inquiring minds want to know. :-)
