Good Friends...

Karen and Paul! Thank you for your hospitality and love! Oh, and Paul, thank you for fixing the date on my camera. I tried and tried and tried, without success, and you managed to transport us from 2003 to 2007 in a matter of seconds. YAY!

Rejuvenate

Rejuvenate:
a : to make young or youthful again b: give new vigor to c: to restore to an original or new state

Yesterday, I was able to spend 24 hours with a couple of dear friends and rejuvenate my spirit. This "Bucket Full Of Fun"...sweetly prepared by one friend's daughter-in-law... was packed with delicious food, a fun game, cards, fingernail polish of course! and lots of love. I am thankful that for 24 hours I was able to laugh, cry, talk and dream of a brighter tommorrow. "Rejuvenation" is a good follow-up to "melancholy".

For my friend, Susan(aka Red)...

You gave me seeds from your garden. I planted and tended them with love. Today the first fantastic flower made it's debut. Thank you!

The Five Hundred Acre Wood!

The table where we ate and talked for four hours. The table setting was gorgeous, the meal scrumptious and the conversation flowed freely. Talk about feeling pampered!
Girlfriends Gab! These are my soul sisters. From left to right: Linda, Karen, Sheila, Susan, Jana (our fantastic hostess and the lucky lady that lives in the 500 Acre Wood) and my empty chair. What a special afternoon we had!
In the evening, we sat around the fire and talked a while. We also played with sparklers. Red played her fiddle and guitar in the background. It was a magical time!

Excellent Eye

Karen sent me a few of the photos she took of our "girlfriend getaway". She has an excellent eye for composition and a fantastic camera. Karen, thank you for being the first "guest" photographer on Susan365!

Early Saturday morning we bundled up and explored the "Land of Ease". We found this lovely "Lady of the Ravine" to be quite a happy surprise. With her seashell held high, she seemed to be saying "Listen". We heeded her advice.

Listening!

Back Story: The tree/moon mural was painted by Liza, the owner of "Land of Ease", and covered one wall of the bedroom where I slept. Before going to sleep I asked for divine guidance as to whether I was on the right track with my life; spiritually, emotionally and physically. I dreamt of the mural. The tree and moon were perfectly clear but in the center of the moon was a large hand giving the "Thumbs Up" sign! I woke up smiling because I felt guidance had been given..."thumbs up" to the direction I was moving. Thus the photo of us making the "thumbs up" sign and grinning from ear to ear!

I leave you with a silly self-portrait and an important message.
