Room With A View
This is the window from yesterday's photo, as seen from the inside looking out. In front of it is a comfy love seat that I bought fresh out of college. That was 27 years ago! Sometimes I sit in that peaceful place and look through the ivy covered window. If I squint my eyes, I can almost see thatched roofed cottages and the rolling English countryside.

Great photo, Susan! You caught the light just right, so it didn't completely wash everything out and obscure the tree. It looks so inviting!
ahh, that is lovely too.
Laura, it does look like a tree but those leaves are actually ivy growing on the window. See yesterday's photo for what the ivy looks like from the outside. It is an inviting spot. ;-)
Susan
Love seeing the inside view. Your house is just as lovely inside as it is outside - just as I've always imagined it to be. I can see why that spot is a peaceful place for you.
Beautiful -- love the lighting and the ivy. What a great place to ponder and dream....
I agree with everyone. The light is very beautiful and inviting.
Beautiful lighting! Very Cozy!
This is a wonderful photo Susan. It looks peaceful and pretty. The combination of window, light and green leaves seems so refreshing.
Love both shots and would love to have a room in my house like that - so cozy and quiet - lovely!
Love it. Room with peek-a-boo view.
