I see this placque several times a day, as I go in and out the back door. The words are a gentle reminder for me to go "placidly". Webster defines "placidly" this way: serenely free of interruption or disturbance. What a worthy goal...to live serenely no matter the circumstances.

Definitely something to work towards... of course at my house interruption of grandkids is very common! *lol*

I love this plaque and the calm encouragment of the verse. My mom has that (the whole poem) on the wall in the room where we stay when we stay with her. Nice picture!
