Nice picture... but what is it? *lol* I thought it was a stone/rock of some sort, but then it looked like ice or something. And I noticed you are still picking up "strange" dates!
Donetta...it's a rock from my rock memorial area. Over the years, I've written words on these rocks that represent things I'm learning about or wanting to focus on. The "hope" is a bit faded and symbolic, to me, in many ways but I think for many people Good Friday represents "Hope". Yes, still working on the weird date thing.

I like the touch of fern in there.
That touch of green really makes the picture have extra meaning. It is a great picture for Good Friday.
Hope, a little faded, but still going strong. Love it.
You have such great family activities and traditions! You have inspired me to do a variation for our family.
Hope reminds me of Emily Dickinson's poem:
HOPE is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
Which reminds me of a picture that says hope to me: little bird
Lisa, I have always loved that poem and the picture is so sweet and "hopeful"! Did you take it?
Ampersand, I'm thinking "Faded Hope" would be a nice title for a poem or even better, a country western song. ;-)
