Finally...

I am soooooooo incredibly excited to have finally captured the moon with my little Polaroid. It is a tad dark, ok it's really dark and it does look suspiciously like a flying saucer but I guarantee this is the moon over my little abode. Thank you for cooperating Mr. Moon, Grandmother Moon, Man in the Moon, whatever your name is.

Oh my... I "just" came back in from trying to take a picture of the moon too!! *lol* Mine didn't turn out good... I'm going to try on another day when it's not quite so dark out.

I love the blue streak. I've been trying myeslef for about a year to get the right moon shot.

Congratulations! I looked at the moon last night, very pretty behind my tree branches. Didn't even give it a try. :-)

Donetta, even though this looks really dark it was more like right after twilight and I used the flash. Without the flash, the picture was black. I noticed within 5 minutes it was too dark...so these moon photos are pretty particular. At least with my camera. Yours may be better able to deal with the dark factor. Keep trying!

Colleen...I thought I saw a moon shot on your blog. They are persnickety. Hope you catch one soon.

Laura,Sandie & Katrina...thanks for the congrats! It's amazing how silly one can get over these photoblog shots. ;-)

I think she's beautiful...even as a kid I always wondered that the "man in the moon" looked pretty feminine! So, for me, she it is! :)
