Lady Bankston Rose bush growing along our backyard fence. In a few months it will be coverd with tiny yellow roses. Today I noticed that the normally green leaves had turned a lovely shade of red. I don't remember that ever happening before, though I am sure it must be an annual event. Amazing what beauty you notice when looking for the daily photo!

That looks like it could be Japanese. I like the color, so gentle and delicate looking.
Interesting! I'm a pretty avid gardener, but I've never heard of this. I'll have to look it up tomorrow. Looks lovely.
Colleen-Let me know if you find it. A little 90 something gardener lady told me that was the name of the rose but I never looked into it....could be some other type of rose.
