Christy recently read about Tin Can Stilts in the book "Ramona and Her Father". She thought the stilts sounded like a lot of fun. Last night, with a little help from her father, Christy made stilts out of old coffee cans and twine. Here she is; clomp, clomp, clomping and grinning from ear to ear.

Go Christi! I never was able to keep my balance on stilts--of any kind! :)
In this day of Ipods and video games galore and all the other tech entertainment, this is absolutely fun to see!
That looks like fun -- and I wish I were in flipflops and sunshine!
The sunshine looks so warm! The stills remind me of the ones I had from Romper Romm when I was a little girl! I used those until they fell apart.
What a great memory to capture! I loved reading about Christy's initiative and seeing her.
What a cutie! I remember playing with a plastic pair when I was younger. These home-made ones look like much more fun. I can just hear her clomp-clomping along! I like the colors in this picture - your dd's clothes and the red and blue of the cans. She looks like she's having such a good time.
