That's Entertainment!

If you like film noir AND George Clooney, then you will probably enjoy "The Good German". The movie has received mixed reviews. I found it a little slooooow but worth the watch. There were some philosophical type questions mixed in with the black and white, slooooow movement and speech. George Clooney was born to play film noir.

Film Noir is a style that started in the 40's...the only reason I know is I have some online friends that have talked about the style. Usually it's detective/crime stuff, black and white, slow style. Look it up on wikipedia. If you watch, let me know what you think. Toby McGuire(Spiderman) plays an unusual role.

I just watched a Clooney film myself - Good Night and Good Luck. Good thinking film and I'm happy to report that Clooney is handsome even in b&w, 60's attire and glasses. ;)

The latest noir I watched was "Brief Encounter" a few weeks ago. It was off the BFI list - thought provoking as well.
