These koi seemed so peaceful in their quiet, serene pond. They brought to mind Lady Julian of Norwich's words: "All will be well, and all will be well and all manner of things will be well."
Love Julian of Norwich! Her book is next on my list -- love the mystics!
My grandmother had a koi pond when I was a little girl; I would sit there cross-legged in front of it, watching the fish swim to the surface and then disappear to the depths....
Where did you see the fish... or koi I guess they are called? I didn't know the name of them, but I remember when Kiley and I went to San Antonio we saw some in a pond!

Julian of Norwich is one of my favorite theologians. My goal is to have a koi pond outside the kitchen area.
Ha! We're reading Julian of Norwich in two weeks. I've been dreading it (I'm so not a mystic). But I like this quote very much.
Koi are my favorites. :)
I love this picture Susan, with the trees reflected on the surface of the water and the fish... it does give a feeling of serenity.

I also love Julian of Norwich! I am so a mystic at heart :).
The koi and the reflection are beautiful.

Beautiful fish, lovely pond, one of my favorite mystics, one of my favorite quotes, and it's true--All Will Be Well. Love you.
