Soul Time at Cedarbrake

I am just home from an overnight stay at the Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center....aaahh! I am not Catholic but the atmosphere there is so peaceful, it's close to home and the price is right.

Mary in the midst of a gigantic rosemary bush. I love to pull off a sprig and crush it between my fingers... to release the Heavenly aroma.

Lagniappe!

All of your pictures are so green Susan! You are drawn to that color, aren't you?

This looks like a beautiful place to spend time.

Whenever I smell rosemary, I don't necessarily think of heaven as much as I think of your rosemary baked chicken! I NEVER smell rosemary that I don't think of you!

I JUST read about someone else traveling through out Europe and staying in monastaries. It was Ginnie from Golden Daze (on my blog list). Did you know that in Ireland most every new town has a statue of Mary like the one in your photo at the town's entrance?!
