Ducks amidst the roots of cypress trees at Landa Park in New Braunsfels. They sort of remind me of John and I. We spent a relaxing hour walking around this park and taking in the beautiful views.

I should let you plan my trip! You always stay at such neat places! Did you kayak? I'm glad you had a good time, and I'm glad you're home. :) I missed you!

Timing on the kayakking didn't work out, so we are going to do that later this month. I really enjoy planning unique trips...based on what people like to do. Wonder if there is a job market for that? :-)

Hey Becky-
On the way down to New Braunfels, John said "We match". It wasn't planned but I thought it was cute. ;-)

Have you been to New Braunfels? Every other year, at least, we take the kids to Schlitterbahn...it's an awesome water park there. The water from the guadalupe flows through parts of it and they have fast rides, as well as gentle tubing rides. It's a family tradition and so I have lots of good memories associated with the town.

I could see myself retiring there, if we could find something affordable.
