Visualize!
I am making a "Visualization Board". I got the idea from the movie "The Secret". Christy is making a collage of things that make her happy. We began visualizing and creating this afternoon. There were pens, glue, markers, magazines, stamps, ribbons, fabric and lots of good cheer strewn all over the gazebo. Creating is messy business but oh so necessary for a joyful life!

we have been gathering things for ours all week! I bought a frame yesterday; we're going to hang it where we can see it first and last thing. It has images of our dreams on it, from cut-outs, drawings, and words. Lots of positive messages; lots of imagination getting ready to be reality. It's been so long since I focused in such an intense way on the *goodness* of God, in my lovableness, in my ability to see any fruit from my determination other than just the sheer effort; I'm sure there are only a few who can really understand but I'm feeling very blessed today. Your board looks great! I can see your importance on serenity. Beautiful!
Tia-one of my friends is doing a three dimensional one. She actually built a tiny cabin of sticks...it's flat but not as flast as paper...and put that on her board. I'm not done with mine. They are some things I need to gather. It was fun making the list...distilling what is really important. Glad you got the "serenity" aspect of mine. The woman in the center represents "health"-emotional, physical and spiritual-and is the hub of my goals. Are your kids helping you? Or is this a project for you and your hubby? Mine is a personal bpard except everyone has seen it, so the seed has been planted. Could you read the little thing in the lower middle? I printed(a friend suggested this) the New York Times Bestseller List and put my book as #1. hehe Last night I added a little teardrop trailer, the Ballymaloo cooking school in Ireland and a quirky house in the country. I still have some space to go but I'm being focused about what I want to put there.
Have Fun, Tia!

What a great project -- seeing your goals and dreams.
And how perfect that you did it outside in your Gazebo.
I've thought about doing it. I do it informally. I do clothes instead of parking spots. I look at something I like from a cataloug and soon it appears in the thrift shop. Sometimes it's off by a tad so I have to decide whether to settle or wait for the real thing. I just manifested the first pair of jeans in 10 years that fit and my pink pants (they are cropped and I wasn't trying for that).
I think people should form "law of attraction" support groups. I was just in town and saw a flyer. Two women will be presenting a workshop here based on the Secret! Of course they are charging. Should I work on manifesting myself a free ticket??!
Colleen- You could work on manifesting a free ticket or you could see that the workshop is there because of your willingness to move forward and that this next step is WORTH the price of the ticket. hehe If you go, let me know what you learned! Are you back home now? I'll run check your blog and see what adventures you are up to today.

This sounds like fun! But, what is The Secret?
I have been putting stuff in a book for a long time. I did a board years ago (8-9 at least) and am still amazed at home many of those things 'came to be". Now my 'visualization book' is better thick. I may have to get it out and look at it daily again.
