Oh Susan, pink against that blue sky! Pink AND Magnolia all in the same tree sounds too good to be true... i've only known white magnolias and love them-- this picture is gorgeous!!

Ahhh, this gives me hope! It's a long way off, but eventually, my magnolia will bloom, too. Pretty picture, Susan!

I have a deciduous magnolia too, although a different variety :-). I'll post a pic of mine, later when it blooms. Mine is still a baby!

I like knowing that we have the same kind of tree.

Is this the same thing that we call a "tulip tree"? It looks the same. It was Jim's dad's favorite tree. We gave him one that he planted a coupleof years before he died. It was a beauty, and I love them.

I think these are the trees I see around our neighborhood each year that I love so much. I have always wanted to ask someone who owns one what type of tree it is - now I know! My dh said he thought it was a tulip tree. I'd love to be able to take some pictures of one. I've been checking my magnolia but haven't seen any blooms yet.

This is a lovely picture - not only of the blooms themselves but also the blue sky.

I had to go back to remember. I think we are almost exactly a month behind! I had forgotten that you posted this!
