Christy wants to paint her bedroom green. This morning we spent some time at Loewes, looking at umpteen million shades of green paint. I was almost as interested in the names of the paint, as in the color. There were your common names: Pine Needle, Bayleaf, Prairie Grass and Apple. Then there were your "exotic" and "mysterious" names: Secret Garden, Stormy Peak, Moon Tide and Mediterranean Night. Then there were the silly names, like Guacamole.

ooh, ooh, ooh... my bedroom is painted green and I absolutely love it. What shade of green is she leaning toward? I wish I could remember the name of my shade of green... I think it has jade in the name. Maybe I'll see if I can take a photo of it tomorrow.

Christy is leaning towards "earthy sage", which is one of the bajillion samples that I picked out and slipped into her pile. I love the color but am not pushing for it because she is the decorator on this project! I'll keep y'all posted. :-)
