Here Comes The Sun!
Two weeks of overcast rainy and icy days ended this morning! I was awakened by golden sun streaming through the bamboo blinds above my bed. Heading out the backdoor, I attempted to capture the essence of this sunny day!
We won't be needing this today!

The birdbath and the sunpeeking through are both really wonderful shots! I like the light and sense fun i all the shots. You can almost feel how nice is was to be outside.
So, Susan....tell us how you really feel about the sun's return! I really like this series, especially the bird feeder reflections and the fern shadows.
The bench and brick photos are my favorites -- but those are all great! And I couldn't help but laugh at Lauraliz's comment; your excitement about the beautiful weather isn't coming through in the least;-)

The first photo is my favorite. I like the contrast of the bright blue against the burnt orange of the bricks and I also like the play with patterns between the umbrella and bricks. Glad to see you are getting some good weather. We are awaiting snow and I am hoping we get it because it's been a pretty mild winter so far.
This is a nice series, Susan. Between the beautiful pictures and your comments, I felt like I was right there, soaking up the sun with you. The area around your home looks so lush and park-like ~ just as I've envisioned it all these years. : )

Aaaahhhh...maybe there's hope for us yet. The pictures are wonderful. We need the cloudy days to remind us how wonderful the sun really is. It's peeped through here a couple of times, but not for long. And it's supposed to rain again all week, beginning this evening. So, I'll vicariously enjoy YOUR sun! :)
Susan, you crazy girl - these are wonderful shots! Every one of them. I love the entry way sun reflecting through the plant leaves. And the umbrella crop is perfect!
